Pumpkin Fun!

We grew our own pumpkins this year and had so many left over it worked out perfect for the chickens.  Today I cut about 8-10 big holes in one pumpkin and gave it to the hens.  They went crazy with it!  So curious and silly!  I left all the pumpkin "guts" inside and they just love that.  

Our weather has been quite good considering it is the middle of November!  We have been doing lots of yard work and prepping for winter.  

The hens have not slowed down on their egg producton with the change in daylight so I am very pleased with that.  We are still getting 27-29 eggs a day - yay!
